HP’s Dscoop USA conference, held in Phoenix earlier this month, featured a new vision for the user group, all-star speakers and cutting-edge technology – but it was after the conference that Aussie visitors got a real “wow” moment as HP showed off the first Indigo 50000 digital press installed anywhere in the world.
The group traveled from Phoenix, Arizona to Las Vegas, Nevada, to visit Digital Lizard, one of the most advanced digital print facilities in the U.S. The world first high volume digital press is among a sizeable array of HP digital equipment that includes a HP Indigo 12000 press, an amazing 12 HP Indigo 7900 presses, two HP Indigo 7250 presses, an HP Scitex LX850 grand-format poster/banner printer, and an HP DesignJet L25500 60” wide-format poster printer.
“These people know how to make digital printing work. I’ve never seen a more productive site,” said Phil Rennell, sales director Currie Group. “I think we were all very impressed.”
