HP is to showcase its digital products and applications at drupa 2012 as the second largest stand with 4,952sqm exhibition space.
While HP is not announcing whether it will be demonstrating any new products, it has confirmed that it will be exhibiting a variety of presses including Indigo, Inkjet, Large Format along with workflow, finishing, and business development technology.
HP GSB worldwide marketing director François Martin said, "We will be one of the largest exhibitors at drupa because we are going to be demonstrating a wide-range of products and applications including our T400 Inkjet web press with finishing equipment. Together, they are almost the size of a bus."
Martin continued, "Our stand at Drupa aims to inspire printers with ideas on what they can be doing with their business over the coming years. We are going to deliver on our promises, demonstrate new applications, build on what we announced at drupa in 2008 and help printers to better service their customers."
Representatives from HP user group, Dscoop (Digital Solutions Cooperative), will be on hand to talk to delegates about HP technology and how they can incorporate digital print services in their business.
"We will be asking printers to come and explain how they use HP technology and how it’s helping them to grow and transform their business," Martin said.
HP is basing its presence on "complete end-to-end" solutions, including its SmartStream Workflow, HP Exstream communications management technology, Web-to-print and MIS solutions and a range of tools and programmes available through its HP Capture business development programme.
The HP stand will be divided into demonstration areas for general commercial print, photo printing, publishing, direct mail and transaction printing, labels, flexible packaging and folding cartons, and sign and display printing.
