Trekk is pleased to announce that a QR code promotion developed for NewPage Corporation was recently honored with a Hermes Creative Award. CODENEWPAGE was chosen from more than 4,700 entries to receive a gold award in the integrated marketing category.
The highly successful tradeshow program debuted in early 2011 where it had attendees literally running to the NewPage booth. In 2012, the campaign was updated with an election year theme for the Dscoop7 conference and expo. It was this redesigned Vote NewPage that won gold in the Hermes Creative Awards.
This is the third award the campaign has received to date. Last fall, CODENEWPAGE won a Silver W³ Award, which honors outstanding websites, web marketing and web video, as well as a Silver Davey Award, which honors the finest creative work from the best small firms, agencies and companies worldwide.
NewPage continues to take the promotion on the road to tradeshows targeting printers, designers, marketers and print buyers. It has proven to be the perfect vehicle for the company's foray into mobile and social media, while securing print's place in the marketing mix.
