FAQ - North America

What’s included in my registration fee?
Please view the cost page where this is listed in detail.

How many people from my company can I bring?
Due to limited space and the cost associated with the program, we have limited the number of attendees to two individuals per company, including spouses.  If you’d like to bring more than two people from your company, please contact Dscoop Headquarters.

Can I bring my spouse or a friend?
Of course, but please note that your spouse/friend will need to pay the spouse rate of $1,250 and will count toward the limit of two attendees per company.

Do I need to purchase a badge to drupa?
If you are only attending drupa with Dscoop on May 3-4, your badge will be covered as part of your Dscoop at drupa registration fee. If you are planning to attend drupa other than May 3-4, you will need to purchase an additional pass, and you can do so through the drupa site

When will I know what hotel I’m staying at?
If you've paid the registration fee, you will be guaranteed a room based on the dates selected from your registration (as long as your dates fall between the evenings of May 1-4.) Dscoop will notify all paid registrants of their hotel within 1 week of their request; however, all hotels will be in Aachen, Germany.

What is the hotel room rate per night?
This will depend on which hotel and room type you are assigned, however the room rate should not exceed €184,00.

Can I extend my hotel reservation to arrive earlier and/or stay later?
Due to limited hotel room availability, those requesting rooms the evening of May 5-6 will be handled on a one-off basis and should contact Dscoop Headquarters for more information. Any requests to arrive before May 1 or after May 7 cannot be accommodated.

What will I be doing each day?
Please view the agenda.

Do I need to book my own flight?
Yes, please see the Hotel & Travel page for more information.

What airport should I fly into?
There are several options to choose from.  Please see the Hotel & Travel page for more information.

Do I need a passport or a visa?
All attendees traveling from outside Europe are required to be in possession of passports valid for three months beyond the period of your intended stay.  Regarding visas, there are 39 countries whose nationals do not need a visa to visit the EU for three months or less. These include Australia, Canada, Japan, New Zealand and the United States. The list of countries whose nationals require visas to travel to the United Kingdom or Ireland differs slightly from other EU countries.  View more details.
